Installing the mIP without a telephone line
Do I need a phone line attached to the mIP for it to work?

Answer:
No, I order to use the mIP a phone line is not required.  The mIP uses the network as its primary means of communication and uses the phone line as a backup, but although it is not required, it is recommended.
